Data You Give Us Directly
Search inputs
If you enter a name, case number, or other term into a sponsored search widget, the input is sent to the third-party provider that runs that tool. That provider processes the search under its own privacy terms. Luna County Warrant Records does not keep an official warrant database or add your search to a county roster.
Messages and contact details
If you send a message to the private operator, the message and contact details are retained as needed to read and answer it. They are not shared outside the operator’s normal service needs unless a valid legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal web requests can produce technical visit data.
- IP address assigned to the device
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring page, when supplied
- Page-view timestamps
Cookies and analytics
Cookies or similar tools may help measure visits, keep pages working, or show sponsored material. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, though some features may behave differently afterward.
What We Do With This Data
- Keep pages available and improve load speed.
- Send a search request to the outside provider selected for the widget.
- Measure which reference pages are useful.
- Find and correct technical faults.
- Support advertising or sponsored search placement.
These uses do not turn the private site into a court record custodian.
No Warrant Data on File
The site does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a public database of Luna County warrant records or private-person warrant details. It points readers to New Mexico Case Lookup, the issuing District, Magistrate, Deming, or Columbus court, the Sheriff, the Detention Center, and IPRA routes. A request under New Mexico IPRA should go to the public body that keeps the existing record, not to this private site.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search widgets are operated by outside companies. Information entered into them is covered by the partner’s privacy policy, retention practice, sharing rules, and pricing. Review those terms before submitting personal information. The partner’s result is not an official court confirmation.
Links to Other Websites
Pages link to New Mexico Courts, Sixth District, Luna County, municipal, MVD, DPS, and federal sources, as well as sponsored tools. Once you leave this site, the destination’s own policy controls. Advertising partners may also track activity on their systems.
Who Might See Your Data
The private operator does not sell visitor data. Depending on the feature used, information may be available to:
- Search partners handling a submitted query
- Analytics providers measuring traffic
- Ad networks placing sponsored material
- Government or law-enforcement bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used for information held by the private operator. No internet service is completely secure, so the operator cannot promise that a breach will never happen or that a third-party service will use the same safeguards.
Users Under 18
The reference is intended for adults. The operator does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a minor’s information is supplied directly, the operator may delete it when the issue is identified.
Your Data Rights
New Mexico IPRA, NMSA 1978, Sections 14-2-1 through 14-2-12, concerns access to records held by public bodies. It does not make this private site the custodian of court or Sheriff files. For information held by the private operator, a person may ask, subject to applicable law and verification, to:
- Receive a copy of personal information held about the requester
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Request deletion when retention is not required
- Ask about or limit certain processing where available
Updates to This Policy
The policy may change when the private service, sponsored tools, or legal requirements change. A revised version will be posted with a new effective date. Check this page before submitting personal data to a search partner.
